3 THINGS I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO IN JULY

With the holiday weekend past, I feel this since of calm. I have this since of relief for some reason and there are 3 things I’m looking forward to the rest of July.

The first thing that I’m looking forward to is NO SCHOOL!!!!!!! Here where we live, my kids just finished out summer school and I couldn’t be more happy. Now summer school was completely optional and it gives them a month introduction into the next grade. But, boy myself as well as my car is happy we aren’t on the morning and afternoon commute.

This past school year all three of my kids were able to attend in classroom. However, at a days notice we had to adjust and adapt to virtual on several occasions. I guess that’s where my since of relief come from. I couldn’t have a set schedule on anything. I’m a girl who loves change and like to take risks, but I had to master the art of literally living day to day.

I will say as a family we did well on the challenge. We knew going in how uncertain things were going to be and the kids were completely on board. They were so over the homeschooling thing. Anytime they were able to get out of house and with friends they took. But, with all of that, I think we’re all happy to have a break.

The next thing I’m looking forward to the rest of July is QVC’s Christmas in July Sale. QVC.com. Yes, I said Christmas. And, QVC is my favorite place to shop. The Christmas in July sale allows me to get gifts and decor that are unique and timeless. Not to mention, the amazing sale prices. I can have the items delivered right to my front door without the hustle and bustle of going to the store. Because holiday season is my favorite time of the year, collecting and getting pieces that aren’t in stores gives me a high. HAS 2021 BEEN WHAT YOU EXPECTED?

Lastly, I’m looking forward to the Olympics this year. My family and I are huge sports fans and love watching all the events in the Olympics. It gives us an opportunity to watch athletes we normally wouldn’t see on television, gives us a mental and emotional break from all the negativity going on in the world, and offers hope and inspiration. Hearing some of their stories of triumph makes me put my own grievances into perspective.

So, that is 3 things for now on what I’m looking forward to this July. What are you looking forward to? It doesn’t have to be big. What makes you excited, smile, and happy? Think about some of the things that gives you a since of relief, even if it’s temporary. All these small chapters makes up our story. What we look forward to and get excited about answers questions about ourselves.
