The only thing that’s permanent is change. If we don’t learn to adapt and reset as our life evolve we will live in the past, and not live up to the life we should. You are stronger and tougher than any problem or situation you’re going through. Remember tough times don’t last, but tough people do. Yes, you get tired of being strong willed and pushing through, but you are built to outlast any obstacle or roadblock that comes your way. WELLNESS: EVEN THE STRONGEST NEEDS A BREAK At the end of every storm, a rainbow comes out. Then we pick up the pieces that lasted in the storm, leave behind what we don’t need or want, and move forward to the next destination in our journey. Through each challenge you may face, there is a piece of wisdom there. Pick up that piece of wisdom and move on to live the life you deserve. Enjoy the rest of you day!!!!!!

GOING THROUGH THE MOTIONS OF LIFE

Have you ever looked up one day and asked yourself ”what am I doing?” Or have anyone ever asked you a serious question to which you should have had an meaningful answer, and your response was ”I have no idea.” Well most likely, you may just be going through the motions of life.

What is going through the motions of life? It’s when you wake up everyday and do what is necessary to make it to the next. There isn’t any thought, purpose, intention, or meaning behind what you’re doing. It’s almost like you’re doing it because you have to, there is no other choice in your mind, and this is your idea of getting things done or taking care of business. You go to work to pay bills. Take your kids to school. Cook dinner and bathe. All to do it over again the next day.

You know you are going through the motions of life when you do the same thing every single day, without blinking. It’s like an automatic robot.

Each movement or thought you have doesn’t have a purpose, meaning, or enjoyment. Nothing you do throughout the day is intentional for your mental wellbeing. The actions you do throughout the day doesn’t add value to your life. It may appear that everything is for survival. You probably don’t enjoy your job but it pays the bills. Most likely the same meals get cooked weekly. Your weekends have no fun, variety, spontaneity, or life to it. It’s all about getting ready to start your work week. What Self Care Is NOT

Another way you may realize you going through the motions of life is you don’t question anything. Meaning, do I enjoy my job? If not, what am I doing in my spare time to get closer to the job of my dreams. When was the last time I did something for myself? Do I have a hobby or interest that take my mind off of things? Have I taken care of my mental health today? Is there a moment in the day where I smiled, laughed, felt good, made someone else feel good, or had a moment to myself. Did I give myself time to breathe, think about nothing, think about what’s next, pray or meditate?

It’s perfectly ok to question.

Why am I going here? How is doing “XYZ” going to make me better, happier, or more money? What is the alternative to ”XYZ?” Do I have another option? How much time will this take of mine? Will this have long term effects on my financial stability? No matter what is required or asked you have the right to ask questions. The more knowledge you have, the better informed decision you can make.

We all have fallen into a slump of just keeping the wheel turning. But at some point, you have to stop and make sure there is intention and purpose behind everything you do.

If you feel like you’re walking around like a zombie and have no idea where you are, then you’re probably just going through the motions of life. Give yourself a break and recoup.

MOTIVATIONAL: GET UP AND GET TO WORK

Get up and get to work. Ok, so you’ve lost your job. There was an misunderstanding and you had a huge falling out with your best friend. On top of all that, your kid is running a muck. Not to mention, you have broken up with your boyfriend/girlfriend. Or your marriage has fallen apart. The hot water heater has went out, the washer is broken, and you’ve had a flood in the basement. The only thing you are thinking is what the bleep else can go wrong.

Now that it seems the world literally has crashed upon you, you are ready to throw in the towel and give up. Oh no we not!!!!!!!! You’ve had a moment to scream, cry, and lay in the pit of darkness. But I know it won’t get better if you continue to lay in the darkness. You have to find the light. However, if you can’t find the light, create your light.

Get up and get to working on yourself. Clean yourself up mentally. Daily Self Care Habits To Boost Your Mental Health If someone isn’t on board with your vision for yourself mentally and emotionally, then you have to love them from a distance. Furthermore, as you walk toward your new light, you are going to have to leave people where they are stuck at. Everyone can’t go with you. You can’t pull someone who isn’t ready or who doesn’t want to go.

If its time for you to explore a new career path, then you need to do so. I know for me, when I get bored and unmotivated the tasks aren’t challenging. It’s time for me to move on to something that will challenge me and get me excited about working. If you wake up in the morning and dread going to work, then you aren’t being fulfilled.

No matter what you’re carrying on your shoulders, drop it and move on. Have your moment and mourn the loss of it. But after that, its time to get up and get to work.No one can change your life but you. If you continue to sit in the dark, its only going to effect you.

Don’t worry about who did what. Or what someone did that helped you get into a situation. We must take personal responsibility. Own and admit to the role we played in our downfall. Once we take ownership, we take back authority and control. Leaving the responsibility in someone else’s hands, leaves us handicapped in taking action towards getting our life back.

I know it hurt like no other pain you’ve felt. I know you feel empty, lost, and saying I have nothing to even begin. But guess what, you do. Your will to live, get better, and grow is all you need. Once you make up in your mind, this is not the end for me, you’ll find what you need to pull yourself out.

Get up and get to work. You can do it. Remember its not what happens to you, but how you handle it.

RANDOM Thoughts of encouragement

While making my coffee I had a few random thoughts of encouragement I wanted to share…There is more life for you to live. Things will get better. It won’t stay dark forever. Be patient until the light comes through for you. Be grateful that you are able to anticipate light and happiness again. Get your strength back while you wait. Figure out what role you played in dimming your light. Part of self care and growth is analyzing ones own behavior in the situation.

Believe in your abilities for yourself. Trust yourself to know you can do it. Forgive yourself. Everything starts with the mind. I didn’t understand this concept until I intentionally began to feed my mind with positivity. The moment you hear yourself saying something negative change that into something positive. Why Mindset Is Everything Stop yourself in mid sentence or mid thought and redirect the course. Whatever we tell our mind is the direction we will take.

I can honestly tell you the moment I decided not to complain and make excuses my mental thought process changed. Even if someone isn’t being the most kind. I do understand it has nothing to do with me. Please understand that was a work in progress for me. And it still is an ongoing process. The key is to consistently work at it. Just because you have a good mindset today doesn’t mean something won’t happen tomorrow that will get you off track.

Now don’t get me wrong I have had a bad day. I will have another bad day. But I know to leave it at that day and don’t carry it over into the next. You will have a bad day. Things will get off course. But the goal is to get your mindset and daily habits to a point where you know exactly how to get back on track. How To Boost Your Confidence With Daily Self Care You know from experience what works for you and how you need to get yourself together.

In the meantime, take care of yourself. Do what you have to do to make sure you’re not on edge. Give yourself time to rest. Furthermore, take the day off and do nothing. It’s ok to feel off, you not your normal self, and you really can’t put it into words. Let the spirit move in and through you. You will eventually figure it out. If you have so much going on in your head, talk it out to yourself or write them down. Your random thoughts will encourage and motivate you.

10 TIPS FOR YOUNGER WOMEN

There are somethings that I see younger ladies doing that makes me cringe. Here are some tips I would love to share with my younger lady friends.

1. Be mindful of what you say and do. Not only the “what” but who you say it to. Also who you do certain things around. We want to be trusting and think everyone will be good to us. However, the reality of it is they aren’t. Not everyone has the best intentions. What we say and do will get twisted around.

2. Don’t bite your nails. This is one of my biggest pet peeves with my own daughter. I finally got through to her, to stop biting her nails. Our hands are the first thing people see outside of our teeth. Ladies when we go in to shake a persons hand, please make sure we have well manicured and moisturized hands.

3. Opt for a tight small circle of friends. Having too many people around can create unnecessary drama. Too many personalities and points of views cause tensions within the group. You never want to be in a situation where you may have to choose a side. FACTS ABOUT INTROVERTS YOU SHOULD KNOW

4. Watch your language. We all have had a slip up, but especially watching your language in public is important . You never know who’s around and who’s paying attention. Not to mention, in this digital age, you definitely will be recorded. You don’t want to miss out on a dream opportunity over non sense.

5. If your friends are talking about someone to you, they will talk about you to others. Pay attention to how your friends treat their other friends. That is a key indication of who they are.

6. Use your manners and maintain self respect. If you don’t take anything else from me, know you are watched and people take notice. Don’t get loud in stores and draw unwanted attention to yourself. Distant yourself from those who seek negative attention. Especially in public.

7. You can be sexy and not show skin. Leave something to the imagination. Unfortunately, we live in a world where you will be judged based off your appearance. Make sure what you are presenting is what you want to be interpreted.

8. Do your own research. Don’t always believe what people say. Learn for yourself so you can have your own thoughts, views, and opinions. Having your own mind will allow you to trust yourself and instincts, therefore not being able to be manipulated easily.

9. Don’t pick your skin or face. If you have a breakout, it is perfectly normal. I was guilty of this so bad. Trust me it will take you a lifetime to clear up the acne scars from picking your skin. Create a good skin care regimen, drink water, exercise, and have a good diet to help with your skin.

10. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. I have never been one shy to ask for help. It pains me to see so many people in a frenzy but won’t ask for help. We are always going to need help. Asking for help is a sign of strength.

I’m pretty sure there are a million other tips we all can think of to offer the younger ladies. Those are just a few I had in mind. If I can help a young lady have a more simple and stress fee life, then my job is done.
